Can anyone tell me if there is a bluetooth option for an 06 e92 that will support Sim Access Profile.
TIA Binary

By that you mean a unit that downloads the phones phonebook and allows calls to be made without having to use the phone handset?
If so I may have an option! I have just removed from my last car (E93 convertible) a complete Nokia car kit that has a small remote screen (that used to sit on top of the dash by the windscreen pillar), a rotary volume control (I had this mounted on the centre console) and a brodit mount (this allows a multitude of different phones to be mounted and this bit of the install is optional) The bluetooth module hides away under the dash and integrates with the BMW stereo. It mutes the sound and feeds the sound through the front speakers during calls. It takes power from the stereo also so no splicing into the car loom is required. PM me if interested If I have missed your point completely, ignore me and accept my apologies |

No apology needed and thanks for the answer. However the car already has bluetooth installed I just wondered if it was SAP compliant and if not is there an option to upgrade it.

My 06 E90 displays the phonebook - aslong as you have Pro Nav with the wide screen you'll *most probably* have this feature, depending upon your phone!
Some do, others don't. There are loads of threads on here discussing it. Aslong as you have a modern phone, you'll be fine. My Nokia 6301 works a treat.
