Tracking the car on NYK Line?
Hi All:
Ok...this whole tracking where you car is a bit confusing. I know for WW for East Coast deliveries, you can go to this link http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/index.jsp and enter your VIN number to see which ship your car is on. However, I'm in the West Coast and there is no instruction on how to track your car (ie, which ship it's on) using the NYK Line website. http://www2.nykline.com/home/index.html Can any shed some light on this. I know you can call your sales guy, but I wanted to do this first before having to pick up the phone. Thanks!

Unfortunately for us west coasters there isn't much we can do to track our cars. ED deliveries are even more difficult as you have no way of tracking when your car was put on a ship and which ship it was. The best for you will be to bug your dealer to find out when your car was loaded, what ship it's on, or what the estimated date is that the ship is docking.
NYK Line isn't very technologically advanced like W&W which sucks.
