whoa- a little steep. BMWUSA has a lease offer for around $500 a month with just auto. A few packages should only raise it up to around $600.
Just a thought- you're paying about $25k for the car. Ever thought about buying it?? |

I thought about it but I don't like owning/maintaining cars... leases are great for me. It's sad to know that it's a little steep. I was hoping I wouldn't have to battle with multiple dealers to get the best deal and that this one would be straight forward with me but a las, battle I must. I'll send it to a few area dealers and see what they can do.

Great replies! Thank you! So right now I found out that the person I leased my Infiniti from in 2005 is actually at BMW now and they are working on a lease for me. Very straight forward too so I'm hoping for the best!

This time around, I only wanted a 24 month lease with 15,000 miles a year. So I wasn't as concerned about money factor or residual because there's no way I'm going to private sell or try to get out of the lease early. My only concern was the lowest possible out-of-pocket and monthly payment.
So, my out-of-pocket came to $1,200, which included the first month's payment of $857. My payments are $857 for a E92 335i, Sport, Premium, Auto. Those payments obviously would have been less had I reduced my annual mileage or extended the term, but I need 15K miles, and I think there will be wondrous things here in 24 months. (Not that this car isn't extraordinary BTW, and I totally love it.)

I received a different lease offer on the same exact car with less money down and $685/month. I don't know how much lower they can go but it's nice to see the second dealer save me about $20/month! I had considered the navi/iDrive combo but was told that would be about $30/month which is definitely not worth it imo. The third dealer didn't even know the 335i sedan numbers were out yet which is troubling... Is there, given the info above, a number I should shoot for monthly payment wise? Also, the money down includes tax and in my area, that sales tax is 8.15% which may be why it's so much money down. I am waiting on the second dealer to send me her final numbers and I'll post it here but she did give me the monthly payment and noted that it was 36/15K.

I spoke with a local BMW dealer recently and apparently the leases have improved in November and it's now about $20 less expensive per month making it about $665/month and that includes quite a bit but your lease is still more attractive. What was the OTD price including TTL?

Not real sure as I dont pay attention to many details.
I traded in a corvette that I was tired of and I had some equity in it .. maybe a few grand and threw that at the BMW. I think I got the car before TTT for 45/46k maybe?

Oh, that's pretty good actually. It falls right in line with the cost of the 335i sedan I was looking at and the coupe, oddly enough, is $1 less per month to lease for the same options but the end price looked pretty similar so the lease term should be similar too. How much did you put down?

I am perplexed now... I used the Lease Calculator (http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm) and popped in the numbers above with the new MF. The end result is:
Why is it so much lower than what they were all quoting me? With the new MF it shouldn't be too far off... Two places quoted me $685/month but then they told me it's $20 less now with the new MF... This is saying $580.83 + tax... rather than paying tax upfront like I was going to... hmm... P.S. - Money factors obtained here: http://forums.e60.net/lofiversion/index.php/t33158.html |

I was offered 44650 for that exact same optioned car. Lease payment was $630 for 36 months 12K a year with just first months payment down. I know they jacked the Money Factor up a bit as well.

My sales price is the same, I put down about $600 more and my payment is $575...I guess I either got a great deal or yours is kinda steep.
