Downpipes and wastegate rattle...
Quick question for all those who have installed replacement catless downpipes - have you noticed that after installation, the wastegate noise/rattle is much louder and more prominent? I presume this is due to the lower back pressure due to the lack of restriction in the downpipes ?? Has anyone done the turbo-lag retrofit with ISTA 32.2 in this situation? Has it reduced the wastegate noise, or increased it further??

when i installed mine, the noise was so loud it was embarrassing actually. maybe its the material of the pipes on the aftermarket ones? i have no clue, but its pretty loud. luckily for me, the rattle was only during the first 30secs or so of cold start then it went away. i could barely hear it upon decel. if i rev it up. i dont know if i should take it to the dealer to try get them to fix it. i tried the way mr.5 suggested but for me, i believe it was the front wastegates.

Mine is very noticeable after the DP Install, I have the same question...
Has anyone done the update to 32.1 and had any sucess? Mine is not rattling on idle, but upon acceleration and between shifts, sounds like ass. |

Updated software to newest version, still sounds like ass, very metallic sounding and its back in stock form, with DP's still on. Looks like the DP's will be coming off and taking it back in for new actuators.
