PDE Reader doesn't go online

I have install the application on my laptop and try to go online with the rs-232 connector I have on my laptop. I have tried speed setup at 9200, 19200, 38400, 57800 and 115200 but I am not able to go online with the PROcede.

What I am doing wrong? I have selected the com port 1 explicitly and press the "go online" button but nothing...

Make sure your COM port isn't being used by something else.

Yep. I have to set mine to 5 in the PDE Reader software and in the USB to serial cable setup. 1-4 were taken by other devices.

2 things wasn't done correctly. First my usb to serial cable madein china doesn't work with the driver they provide with my laptop. Then I tried the built-in serial port on my laptop but for this try I forgot to price twice on the start button ... lol.

My 5-29 maps are now loaded and I love the linear feel of them.

Gotta find a usb-serial cable that work now...
