Radiator Fan Question

Does anyone else's idle go up about 100 rpm when the radiator fan kicks in?

I noticed my idle speed seemed to rise from 650 rpm to about 750 rpm for no apparent reason until I opened the hood and noticed the rad fan usually running at the same time.

This is my second summer with the N54 engine, and I don't recall this happening last summer....so I am wondering if it's normal or not.

idle also goes up for the a/c, this is a luxury car, not a racecar
