Mis-firing system (anti-lag system)
I stopped by a car shop to pick up a replacement part this morning and noticed they had a idling 335i coupe on the dyno...they told me that just finished dynoing the car with a custom tuned misfiring system...
I saw the torque graph briefly on the screen and its nothing I have seen for a 335i...it looked like a NA cars' torque curve..low-end torque was at 90% of max at near idling rpms...however, there is nothing spectacular regarding the HP. They would not let me take any pictures. surprisingly, the car was quite quiet at idle unlike other mis-firing systemed cars I've seen during the 1990's.. This shop is quite well-known here in Hong Kong especially for their 1000hp+ street legal R34s. anyone working on such systems for our cars yet? it would be a good product for auto-xers |

They mentioned that they are using the same CPU that Pro-drive uses as it could be deactivated on-demand. I dont know what Pro-drive it probably an auto-computer company.
the car was literally spitting flames on idle..the knocking's crazy |
