e91 logig 7 upgrade to individual...
is this possible?
are the amp wiring and speakers connections same? what is freq bandwith to logig 7 middle speaker in dashboard? full band or is it cutted? is it possible to upgrade individual coaxcial speaker to middle speaker because i think there is only 4" woofer element there? |

Most of wiring and the OEM connectors are the same between the Logic7 and the Individual Audio. Of course, the speakers, the front doors wiring and crossovers and the OEM amp are different. The center speaker bandwidth is actively bandpassed using the standards of the Logic7 processing. The DIRAC processing in the Individual audio does that as well using their standards. The Logic7 4" speakers are half the impedance rating of the Individual Audio's, so replacing any of the Logic7 4" speakers with the Individual Audio's will reduce the power of that speaker -thus its volume level- effectively in half. |

You need to think of these as closed systems.
If you connected an individual amp (rated for lower impedance than L7 speakers) to L7 speakers of higher impedance, you probably wouldn't get any noticeable power increase. You probably need to upgrade your system via the aftermarket. |

I tried 4 ohms SWS-8 as underseat woofers with my Individual Audio amp and any decent bass note caused the Amp into thermal/overcurrent protection. |

I bet that it should be 98% compatible as the audio and basic adjustment data should be exactly the same, it is the 2% left (surround modes, display information) that could make it not compatible or cause issues. |
