Installing spacers
I just got my order of 18" CSL's from EAS, and I got 12mm spacers. Just was wondering for the ppl out there who have installed spacers how have your guys done it? Did you sand the hub and the spacers first to clean them then apply anti-seize to the lug bolts?
Any other tips would be appreciated

just put sum white lithium grease in between the hub and spacer so they dont get stuck when you want to remove them. I never really use anti-seize or grease on lug bolts anymore.
Per the RE website: It is important to note lug bolt torque. Below, find picture a lug bolt torqued to 90 ft. lbs. (according to the customer) using grease on the threads. BMWs current specification on M12 lug bolts is 88 ft. lbs. (higher for M14 bolts). This specification is with dry threads. Anti-seize, grease, or other lubricants on the threads of the bolt can, and will, artificially lubricate the threads, causing an inaccurate torque reading when using a torque wrench. This can yield a situation where the bolt is actually over-torqued (as shown in the case below).

Putting some grease on the back of the spacer where it comes in contact with the hub is fine... but make sure not to put any on the lug bolts! Torque to the correct OE specifications and you'll be fine.
