data plan starts at $99. I was paying $50 before. I got the family plan now and it's running me around $140 for the entire family

Right now i'm paying $45 for pretty much unlimited everything. Including data! All the free internet i can use. So I would have to get a new plan just for the phone. |

I'm on the SERO plan right now with them. $30/month for 400 mins, and unlimited data and texts. I have an HTC phone, and it's okay, but I would like to get something a little more compact. My contract isn't up until January though, so I have to wait.
And if I can't get the SERO plan again, I may go back to AT&T. |

It's a great plan, you're not going to be able to get anything that good through AT&T. Looks like i'm going to have to get a HTC phone too. That seems to be the only smart phone you can get without changing your plan. I got my girlfriend the HTC Touch Diamond but it seems to be too slow. Really bad lag. . . Which phone do you have? Any problems? |

I have the Sprint Mogul, aka "HTC Titan", or the "PPC 6800". I'm not running the stock ROM though. I flashed it to a modded ROM that strips out all the sprint bloatware, and ads in the HTC touch options and dialing screens so it's easier to use with your fingers. Then I added my own homescreen plug in, and iPhone-like contact app. It does run a bit faster than the stock ROM, and it's easier to use without the stylus.
Go here for all your HTC modding desires: http://forum.xda-developers.com/index.php I've been pretty happy with one of the DCD ROMs, and haven't had the need to re-flash the phone in quite some time (like almost a year), so I'm not sure what ROM versions they are up to now. |
