Screw in 18in RFT w/ 6,000 miles - need to replace in pairs?
Am about to head to a funeral 400 miles away tomorrow. Tire pressure warning this evening. Nice lookin' screw in front tire (335 ZSP with Bridgestones). Great.
Original tires only have 6,000 miles on them. Need to get this replaced ASAP. Basic question: with that few miles, I am assuming it is fine to replace only the dead tire, don't need to replace both of the front tires. Right? Edit: Forgot to mention, tire w/ screw also has a small bubble. Hadn't noticed that until tonight. Sweet.

you can plug or better yet patch them (unless it's in the sidewall)... i run a patched rft right now, and i have no problems... driven over 3000 miles on them. But, then again, you also have that bubble, so you might want to replace actually.
