All BMWNA says is that its on rail....coming from Halifax to Toronto. I tried to get a account with CNrail to access the info but was denied...I dont have valid shipping account. DOes anyone have logon info if i provide with VIN.? pm me

yeah I got one........not sure if I can remember the login (I got my car a year ago) but PM me you're VIN and I'll try.........

The wait is unbearable but I tracked my car from Munich all the way to the dealership (yes you can track the trucking company too)

I havent heard back yet from the poster who had the CN account...but I've called BMW NA for past 6 days and all they said is its still 'on rail'. He had no other info...and said to call my sales rep. But i dont wanna keep on bothering the rep either.

I had my order switched last week. I had one on schedule for production for July and August delivery but i found one that was on the rail from Halifax with couple more options....so i changed my order. I figured instead of renting a car for 2 + months for $2grand, might as well use it and pay extra for options ...and enjoy the summer.

I picked up my car last month, from what I recall the total time from arrival at the dock in Halifax to arrival in Toronto by rail was just over a week. It was then another couple of days for it to arrive at the dealership from the rail yard.

My car arrived in Halifax on the 10th. (It was on the Undine) It arrived in Toronto on the 17th. Just today at 1:30 it was registered to the trucking company www.lhf.com. My pick update is next Friday the 26th.

Mine says the same thing date wise, just it is being delivered to Ajax. I think that is just a default and it will be in sooner then that.

The whole shipment of BMWs that arrived on Wednesday was probably registered with LHF today and they reserve the right to have it delivered by 25th at the latest. This means that some time between now and the 25th your car will be loaded onto a truck and delivered to the dealer. No gurantees that it will be there early, however some will have to be before the 25th as they can't do it all in one day. Good chance it will be earlier, but it will be there by the 25th at the latest. It is so close now, no worries. I ordered my car in the middle of April and have been waiting a long time now. I am just relaxing now in this good weather. I am typing this on my deck enjoying the sunshine and drinking a Mohito with the mint I grew in my backyard!!!!!!!

Thanks for the detailed response. Much appreciated! So I guess my 'pickup' date doesnt actually mean it is physically on delivery truck and en route?

Exactly. Don't stress too much, it will be there next week. If you are lucky it will be monday, if you are unlucky it will be Thursday. Just relax. Most people wait at least 8-12 weeks for the bimmers, 4 days is peanuts.
