Making the jump from Lexus to BMW

Hey everyone,
As the subject title indicates, I'm making the switch and am VERY excited to be part of the BMW family. I've been looking at 3-series CPOs and in particular, a 2006 330xi with 25k miles. Options are as follows:

0ZCW Cold Weather Package
0ZPP Premium Package
01CA CO2 relevant vehicles
0203 All-wheel drive
0205 STEPTRONIC automatic trans.
0249 Multi-function steering wheel
04AB Dark Burl Walnut wood trim
0403 Moonroof
0441 Smoker's package
0459 Power front seats
05GA Alarm pre-wiring
0502 Retractable headlight washers
0521 Rain sensor and auto headlight
0522 Xenon headlights
0524 Adaptive light control
0534 Automatic air conditioning
0544 Dynamic cruise control
0563 Ambient light package
0677 Logic7 sound system
0694 CD changer preparation
08SP CO2 control
0818 Battery switch
09AA Transport protection
0925 Shipping package

Dealer is asking for $29,900, including CPO costs. As this is my first BMW purchase, I was looking to seek the opinions of some more experienced BMW enthusiasts here at e90post. KBB and Edmunds price the vehicle at about $32k. I know there is a lot of great knowledge and experience here so I will definitely value any of your input.

Many Thanks,
James

30k is almost 335i price range... I would definately work with them on the price. If not, just shell out another grand or 2 and get a 335i

x2

Seems pretty well loaded, but I honestly would prefer a lesser optioned 335i for a little bit more then what they are asking.

Wish you the best, either way!

Well IMO I just got a CPO'd 2006 325xi w/49K miles on it 3 weeks ago and regret my purchase, and I am currently looking at how to turn it back in. Now I most likely got stuck with a lemon, but either way my advice to you is this. CPO does not mean anything in my opinion. Yes you get a limited 2 year extra warranty, but it doesnt cover very much at all.

your best bet would be as said above spend the extra money on a 335 or at least a vehicle with very low miles. AND research the dealer u are going to be using.

I took for granted that being a BMW and also being CPO certified that i was getting a reliable high end vehicle. NOT the case at all.

But maybe I am just the exception to the rule??

Just make sure to cover your self before buying anything.
