6FL buzzing - how do you stow your iPod??

I have an iPod Classic that generally lies flat on the passenger side of the compartment (as opposed to the deeper 'hole' on the drivers side). The 6FL 'Y' cable almost seems too long for this - and I often get a faint (or not so faint) buzz when playing the iPod. Jiggling the iPod/cable can get it to go away for a brief period, but it does come back, and happens with other iPods too.

I keep mine in the pouch provided under the arm rest. Name: IMG_0284.jpg

I had an issue a while back with some slight buzzing and the music cutting in and out at random. Took the car to the dealer and told them about it and they gave me a new 6FL cable free of charge. No issues since. (I make sure to leave the USB/miniplug end of the 6FL alone unless I really have a reason to mess with it, and that seems to keep the issues away.)

Seems that either US version or 2009 model year doesn't provide the pouch.

Yup. No pouch in the 2009.

mine usually sits between the e brake and the center console. i leave just enough wire out so that it doesn't make it unreachable and yet it holds it in place. it's also convenient for taking it out during driving.

I throw mine in the ashtray since its always open anyways, I always have my radar detector plugged in. I also like between the seat and thigh bolster on the passenger seat. Its the perfect iPod, wallet, loose papers holder, and its adjustable

My Ipod classic is in the deeper hole in the compartment and I've had no buzzing issues so far.
