What is the best way to take off my CF mirror cover?

They're held on using 3M double sided tape......Anyone?

TIA

i used some adhesive removal liquid, and slightly use some force to take it out...i even took out the original cover to take off the CF, that is more easy to just try to take off the CF cover from the car!

How did you get the adhesive removal liquid on the tape? Pour it in between the crack?

Also, are there any vendors out there selling CF replacement mirror covers?

No, want to wait for vendor to come out with the actual replacement piece in CF.....AFAIK, only Autotechnic carries replacement side mirror covers in CF, but they only have that in the E92, not E90............

Also thinking about going 3D Design, and they've got the 1X1 weave versus the 2X2 which is what I have.

Best is to heat it up and use goo gone to soften the tape. Make sure to clean the surface with rubbing alcohol if you are going to reapply them.

We do offer both the mirror covers and complete replacements if you want to replace the entire painted part.
