I've easily spent $80 PER PESON there. You're young so no liquor will make it cheaper, but still, expect $90 + tip. I think it's too much, especially for a 20 yr old taking out a 19 yr old. There are plenty of other hip joints that would only cost you $50+

fuckkk that! that place looks whaaack! get someone to pick you up a case of beer then pick you up some filet's, cook those bishes to medium rare, top it with a brie sauce, pair it with roasted garlic red mashed potatoes and some steamed veggies and you'll be laying pipe in no time!

I've been to the one in Irvine. Most of the food sucked. Dessert was great, but for the price it's too frickin expensive. I guess if you are going on a date or taking people out and you've never been there before you could try it, but I don't think you'll be dazzled.

If you want to go to a novelty restaurant then a Japanese steakhouse is more fun than fondue IMO

Overpriced, slow, you stink and feel greasy when you leave, and if I'm going out to dinner I don't wanna cook my dinner.

I get rooms there for $100 a night and drinks are free. all I pay for is dinner and valet because I throw events at the one in Hollywood but I like the rooftop downtown better.

The ex and I would go to the Melting Pot in Atlantic City each of the three times we went. I think its really good. For the experience, you can't beat it. I'm getting my parents a gift card for the one in Pittsburgh for them to go to. I think they would like it.

Best place for a date would be a modern french restaurant, and do the tasting menu. 7-8 dishes, tiny portion, exotic ingredients, and surprising flavors spells sophistication and cosmopolitan. Pricing is usually between 150-200 excluding drinks. But it's totally worth your buck.

In all honesty I did not like this place one bit. The food was mediocre at best but it seems to swing well with the ladies. You're basically paying for the atmosphere. God, there are so many other things that you could get, and for your moneys worth. Steak, Sushi, anything but this place. + the wait is absolutely Absurd. Come here for dessert only

As everyone has already point out, Melting Pot, along with Japanese Stake houses, Korean BBQ and now the Brazilian Stake house, the food is about okay, nothing special there. The cost is high but it is a different way of going out and having dinner so it is about the experience not the food. They are all really a social event you go with a bunch of friends and have fun and do not worry about how much it cost.
