wheels question

Hi,

I am new here. Ordered E90 325i with type 159 wheels. As my friend get a set of 17 SSR type C rims with offset 40,8J x17, 5x120 are they susitable for my E90 as I know that the stock wheels come with offset of 34.

Thanks alot

I think it will fit, I was wondering about brake clearance because those wheels have a lip, but with a 325i I think it will work

HO,
Just got a set of Beyern Five rims with the same specs. You will find the rear will be fine but debending on the tire size you decide on there will not be much clearance on the fronts. I am using spacers (10MM) to increase the clearance and wided the stance.
Hope this helps.

The bigger offset of those rims will make the tires stand in more than the stock setup thereby looking quite silly.

YouŽd at least need spacers to get to the stock width and therefore look. Altough spacers are allways the less benefical solution compered to wheels with the proper offset in the first place.

Hi all,

My friend's SSR rims are of following size:
Front 8Jx17 offset 40mm
Rear 9Jx17 offset 40mm

How do they compare with my stock rims ( 8Jx17 offset 34mm ) in terms of appearance and handling? Can I use back my run flat tire with size 225 /45/17x 4 ?

Thanks alot
