09 doesn't have fuel pump problem?

should i have him put in writing that he himself informed that "unless the intake (or any aftermarket part itself) causes a (the) problem, they will not void my warranty" or would i be asking for too much?

someone new posts a failure just about every other day. and many are 09's.
