my 08 335i just shut off

hi guys I have a 2008 335i sedan auto with a JB3 and i shut the traction control complety off to do a burn out in 1 place and the car shut off after spinning the tires for about 3-5 seconds....do u guys know y this happened?any help will be great..thank u

Did you turn the car back on and do another peel out and see if you can replicate the problem?

So I assume that you were braking while spinning the rear tires?

Never heard of that before, but then again, there are A LOT of things I don't know about........So all is possible!

Check tune connections? Would be my guess.. battery cable connection? -- even though your car wouldn't shut off it's worth double checking.

I must confess to doing one LONG burn out before i replaced my rear tires once... good thing my car didn't turn off... cause the guy's house i was passing ..well he wasn't so happy (oops) ...
