abandoned Tustin Marine Air station??

does anyone know anything about the tustin marine corps air station that was abandoned back in 1999? its in orange county and i know its been used for autocrossing/speed trials/karting/car shows etc. in the past. i was hoping you can just drive in and have tons of acres to autocross and drive for free since i've heard of abandoned airstrips being free 24/7 autocross and speed trial grounds ha.

I dont remember the last time they used it for any type of racing but when they did, it was loud from the surrounding houses!

Since new homes were recently built, I dont believe they'll be continuing that.

2 weeks ago there were no sounds issues. I'm pretty sure you just can't roll up and start having fun. Or... you can untill the authorities come and break up the fun.... just like any parking lot.
