hid fogs

soo i picked up a hid fog kit yesterday thinking it was an h11 set up... after i lift the car on the jack, take out the wheel well cover, ifound out my fogs are h8

hahaha damn that sucks, i think H11 are for mtech bumpers/fogs. what kind of hid kit did you get/where from?

The tabs on a H11 bulb can be modified to fit into an H8 socket.

i got it from a store up in LA. they are Hella Litegear? ever heard of it?
we installed a set on my uncle's q7 very pleased with that outcome. i tried swaping the store for an h8 kit and they're give me some hassel saying they want to see the bulb and what not..

there is a possibility that your kit might not work with out a capacitor mod, if you do pm me for the details on how to do a diy, i believe a few people have has success with my mod to get generic kits to work.
