WTB: PBA windshield sticker?

anyone know if there is any way to get a PBA sticker for the front window aside from obviously knowing the cop?

u mean one of those big metal shields? I heard that they are now serialized and the cops can check if you actually know the cop or not... be careful who who get one from.

I get get at least 1 phone call and 1 letter a year asking for donations to the PBA.

Im actually a member of the PBA and I might have one lying around, but not sure. I think if you donate they will give you a sticker though. I do have a card.

so how do you get one of those shields? you just have to know a cop? how many can a cop give out?.....I never saw those before moving to NJ and they're pretty odd...

shields are decent u need one of the gold cards with ur name engraved on them my friend got out of a donut ticket with that

Look up your local PBA. I just spend 2 seconds google searching and found mine. You can donate on the page and they often have fun raising events. If you dont know anybody than go and sign up and donate. Make a friend. Get a card.

u cant get a shield for donating. a police officer can only give a shield to immediate family. however u can get a personal friend gold card or family member gold card from a cop u no. PBA cards also from cops u no. but for donating u get a sticker in the mail

in my experience, i held two pba cards and the rear window decal, and i showed them to the complaining officer (minor speeding infraction) and ..well it didnt do shit. wrote me up a 128 dollar ticket and i was on my way..those cards and stickers are really to just get you to donate money, nothing bad of course, but they really don't do as much as i'd hope they would. it depends on the officer. some will send you on your way but most of the real ***holes will turn the cheek to them.

After all, a ticket is a ticket at the end of the day. good luck.
