Some mod advice, please

E92 Barbera Red. Beige interior. Very subdued car. Want to begin the sport look process, on a budget b/c doing suspension etc.

1) Matte black grill? With or without the painted outline? Might look different with the painted outline? Might go well in matte black with 328 window trim in matte black?

2) Gloss black grill? Might match shadownline trim?

3) Window tint--35%?

4) Aero Lip and M3 spoiler?

5) M6 Wheels----eventually

6) debadge--done

7) Painted reflectors-done

any barbera red coupe pics appreciated too...

Please no m6 wheels.. Super played out.. What about OZ Ultralegga's in matte black? They are different and really light..

M6 are truly a dime a dozen these days, so are CLS!

I personally prefer the matte black look so I would do that for the window trim and front grill set.

Definitely do the Aero or Vorsteiner lip if you don't want to go Mtech and do the M3 lip if you aren't after a CSL trunk.

For wheels, I would go with V710s or CSLs but the M6s are not a bad choice.

I have actually only seen 1 e92 335i with M6 Reps..
I like their look a lot, but that's me.

Never seen an e90/91/93 with them

I have CSL's, I love them and get compliments all the time. They say they are a dime a dozen, but that is just on here. Where I live they are nowhere to be seen, accept on my car o.c.

What abou that glossy pillar just before the rear quarter window, I'd almost call it the B pillar on this car. That has a glossy strip. Are folks who do matte vinyl or 328 replacing that strip or covering it?? it would seem to stick out.

Funny, I have yet to see an 335 in norcal with the m6 wheels in person. that said, i have not been to a meet or anything.

nick, do you guys do installs on the lower grill and vinyl as well as sell? if so, PM me cost, please

Hey there,

We have an M6 display wheel here if you want to drop by and mock it up to the car. I am not a fan of the look on an E90, I think the split spoke design works better on the coupes/convertibles.

We don't do installs here but we can refer you to Sonic in Mountain View to do the install or you can DIY. You can also swing by and pick up the grill set

I do recommend placing matte vinyl over the B pillar trim as well to match the rest of the car.
