Was a good weekend to wax

No rain in sight for a week, so great opportunity to wash/wax. It's only a twice a year thing for me (waxing), so I took advantage of the long weekend. I also cleaned the interior, Zaino'd the seats. I don't know about you fellas, but I feel as though I fall in love with my car all over again after the process is done.

I don't use any fancy products, just Meguiar's Gold Class, and some sort of Meguair's on the interior (instead of Armor All), as well as the Zaino Leather in a Bottle.

Yes, I now have some touched-up chips (one on the hood the size of a raindrop) and there are some specks of road tar (will deal with next time), but still no dings (car is 31 mos old but spent almost a year mostly in the garage)!

Yes sir - Supernatural is awesome stuff. I have loved all Dodo Juice waxes so far - Supernatural, Purple Haze, Light Fantastic, Hard Candy (as an under-coat for Purple Haze). I am anxious to try Rubbish Boys edition, but I have to work through all my existing pots first.

Not to thread-jack, but this was my first time using Dodo Juice Lime Prime as a pre-wax cleaner. Lime Prime was good and very easy to work with, but I am not sure the results were any better than my usual pre-wax cleaner - Klasse AIO.

I spent 5.5 hours on Saturday with the clean/clay/polish on my truck. Wife split to bingo with the E90 (which could use a good cleaning) Haven't done any polishing in a while, so my shoulder gave out. Got two coats of Z2 on Sunday, and plenty of 303 on the wheels/trim. That took another 2 hours. Glad the truck doesn't have nice rims that need any attention !

Just finished washing one week after the wax went down. Picture was taken after drying - no QD, no buffing, nothing but auto soap and water...
