Roundel Thoughts?

In the process of taking my sparkling graphite e92 and replacing all the chrome for matte black (grills, window trim, badge "335i", etc). Also about to order a set or 19" VRM V710's from EAS in Matte Black to finish it off. Been debating a new roundel as well. The silver & black CF ones look good, but I was wondering if anyone has seen one in a matte finish or with metallic finishes (grey & black, grey & grey, etc).

Pics appreciated.

Thanks

Leave them in the Bavarian colors, its part of the identity of the car. I cringe when I see them in other colors. Its like removing a "point" from the Mercedes star or something...

Where did you find the black window trim to replace the chrome ones? I've been wanting to do this and wasn't sure where to find them and how much they cost.

Totally agree, the CF or other colored roundels are silly.

Please don't change out your roundels, they're that color for a reason.

Interesting. Hadn't expected this to have such polar opinions.

Got the trim through http://getbmwparts.com/. The shadowline trim is glossy and costs a lot more. It just depends if you are going matte or not.

Evan at Tischer was helpful in me placing the order. The new trim looks really good and is more durable than vinyl or paint.
