New wheels and wax

Im expecting my new wheels sometime this week and I also ordered some Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. Would it be safe to use the sealant when the wheels are fresh out of the box?

Two or three coats will give you the best results. Post up some pictures of the new wheels when you get them on there!

Are they coming direct to you, or to the installer? If right to the house, wax them pups with several coats before they ever see the tires.

Similar question as the OP - if I'm having some wheels refinished (powdercoated), can I apply wheel sealant immediately after I get my wheels back or is there some time I need to let pass before doing so?

I didn't like what happened when I put PBWW on my powdercoated rims for my motorcycle. They were a dark grey, nearly black. I *THOUGHT* I had wiped them down really well, but I can still see bits and pieces of red on them. The powdercoater told me I was wasting my time/money, just use simple green to clean them.
