WTB/Want Advice: iPhone media integration for 10/05 build e90

Hi all,

I'm not quite sure what I need, but I know what I want. I want something like 6FL (i.e. I plug a USB type of connector into the bottom of my iPhone and I can change tracks using the steering wheel buttons, possibly charging it too, but that's not essential.) However, I don't think I can get 6FL since my car is an '05 build e90. I don't know if the iPod MOST kit will work - I don't want to keep my iPhone in the trunk.

So my question is: what do I get? Can I use MOST without having it be in my glovebox all the time? Does anything on the market come to mind to do this?
