New buyer advice

New buyer going to start negotiating

I’m planning on getting a 2009 335i, MT, white or black on red leather, new navi system and premium package, confort assist. I think I spotted one in the online inventory at the dealership in LA. I’ve been researching so I have the invoice and definitely considering leasing.

Correct me if I’m wrong this is what I have concluded:

2009 pricing:

http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...t=confidential

Invoice on the 2009 coupe is $38,640 + $2,410 (Premium package) = $41050.

I have never purchased a car before but my game plan:

1. Find other dealers with similar car get a lease quote.
2. Then finally go to the dealer with the exact car I want and start negotiating for a better deal.

I’m not sure about how to go about that. What should I ask first? Should I just tell them that I want payments around $500 a month? I’m not sure how to start it off. Advice?

What’s the best lease deal I can get for the 335i with the specs I want? Can someone find a post with the best lease deal they got? What should I ask for the dealer initially as for bargaining?

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Soo guys! I was soo close to signing this deal! but I'm glad they didnt have the car. $2000 down, $790/mo after tax, 12k miles, $47,900 price of car. They almost got me. What do you think? This is a So Cal dealership.

335i coup, prem. / sport package, comfort access, jet blk on black leather, 6 speed man tranny,

I've never leased before but that seems pretty steep. U could be buying it for that monthly payment.

hello all,

i have been looking around for a reasonable deal on a 4 year lease, 20K km, 328xdrive, AT.

the best i could find so far

for a 328xi with sport package, metalic color
was about $720 CDN total (tax+pdi included) for monthly payment.

is that reasonable? any chance that the dealers could bring it down to 680/month?

for a 328xi regular, white
was about $680 total.
how about that deal? any chance they could bring it down to 630-650ish?

thanks all
