Black Badging?

What do you guys think about blackout (matte) badging on a TiAg? Im just talking about the "335i" lettering, not the roundels.

Would look cool... if there was anything else on the exterior that matched it, such as window trim, roof, kidneys, etc.

I gotta say though, debadging is a much cleaner look overall

By window trim I assume you mean you got rid of all the chrome right? If so, I would go for it. It would definitely bring together the overall look that you are going for your car. Also consider going for Blackline lights if you haven't yet, maybe even tint them too.

Yea, I have OE matte black trim...as well as blacklines. Im not really going for a "blackout" look, but the badge is the last piece of chrome/silver on the exterior, haha.

Maybe not a "blackout" look, you don't have to tint the taillights, but it definitely makes a difference in the overall look of the car. The stock taillights just look odd to me and you can get the OEM Blacklines for $275 + shipping at Tishcher BMW.

You could always try these clear lights which I got from http://www.JLeviSW.com :

i got a blacked out grill, 335i symbol, and roundels on my alpine white e90. i love it! it gives the car a subtle different look from other e90s.

My wife debadged her 325 last year and the look's been growing on me. I'll probably debadge next time I polish.

That said... black on TiAg would look pretty good, especially since you already have black trim. If you don't like it you can always pull it off later
