interior LED for beige leather?
Anyone done this? I can't find pictures of this setup. Preferably on an E92.
It's cool having an LED interior, but at the same time, I feel like the stock bulbs give off that warm ambience. Voice your opinions, please!

I live my Autohaus kit. I have black leather but I'll be posting a review with pictures in a couple days. I think if you check the vendor section they have a bunch of pictures with them in a beige interior.

I think they will look fine with the beige interior. I also ordered the f1 autohaus kit and now im hesitant to install the kit. Btw my car is AW and saddle brown leather, and I dont know how it will look with the leather

I think the kicker would be matching the ambient lighting in the doors, which I'm pretty sure is LED. Having two different colors of lighting would look odd I think and the door lighting would be non-trivial to switch out.

There are two different color BMW door handle LEDs btw if anyone has noticed. One is 5k-ish like the RD LED lamps and one is 6k-ish w/ a slight blueish/purplish hue.

This kit sounds sick. Looking to place my order soon!
btw mike, do you have pics of the UHP led license plate lights? I'm hoping it's not too bright. I'm looking for one that's close to the OEM led's, maybe a little brighter (but definitely not as bright as the RD ones)

I was thinking about having another LED option as you suggested that's almost as bright as the R-Dash but not as expensive. PM me for more details R-Dash (L) v. new LED option (R) *it's not purple as shown in the picture but more of a 6k white Last edited by Mike@F1 Autohaüs; 07-22-2009 at 02:50 AM.. |
