A Way to explain muffler delete
I called the muffler shop asking how much a muffler delete would cost but they're not familiar with the term. How do I explain this to them?

tell them you want them to cut off your rear muffler and weld in a pipe with exhaust tips in it's place. So the muffler is "deleted"
Maybe you should go to another shop. If they don't understand the words muffler and delete, you might be in trouble

Agree With 200Duece. The Term Muffler Delete May Not Be A Commonly Used Term In The Industry, But Explaining That You Want To Remove The Muffler And Replace It By Welding In A Straight Pipe With Tip On The End Should Get The Point Across. If Not, Go Elsewhere.

Got it done. It was a kinda bad job the pipes stick out too much and they point a little down. It's my fault for not saying anything while he was welding it thought so I'm the only one to blame. The sounds not as loud as I thought but it probably has something to do w. the resonator inside the tips. Hopefully I can switch the tips out.
