What type of camcorder should I get?

Hey guys,

Im looking to buy a new camcorder. Im going to visit my family in Greece for a month and want something that will look good on my HD tv. I also want it for future videos of my car I dont know a thing about camcorders so any help is appreciated. Im looking to spend around $500. Thank you guys so much!

Sony HDR-SR11. Shoots in 1920 x 1080, 60GB HDD, 3.2" touch-screen.

It's a bit over your price range, but I would highly recommend it if you can get the extra $.

Anyone know anything about this one?

JVC - Everio High-Definition Digital Camcorder with 60GB Hard Drive and 2.7" LCD

Looks like it has alot of good qualities for $550?
