Radar on San Diego highways

I dont know if this was posted yet, but starting yesterday CHP will be using radar on all highways and /or freeways. For non natives or people who might not have known, CHP only used radar on parts of the 15 and 5. Mostly the northern parts. If you kept your eye in the mirror you were safe. Probably why I have not had a speeding ticket. So beware and maybe consider getting a Valentine 1.

weird. I guess that would explain why last night on one road, i saw two cops hiding in the dark, radaring and pulling people over.
Kind of scared me, how they just creeeep... grrr.

Isn't laser where they stand on the side and shoot an instant beem?
Then radar is where they pace with you?

I could be wrong.

You know i am not sure about laser, but I would imagine they would have both. Prior to radar they used "pacing". Here is the link to the news article that was written up on the subject.

I would imagined that they got "approval" to do this was to generate revenue. Along with the darn photo enforcements its crazy. Check this out, i was going past some construction and the road was closed as well as photo enforced!

Got pulled over by a cop using laser here last week. He was literally parked under the speed limit sign where the limit went from 50 to 45 and wrote me a ticket for doing 60 in a 45.

Now thats just ridiculous. :mad:
