Claying??
With the rock chips on my car can i clay over them safely? I have my products but i havent started cleaning yet. I want to know what im doing. Im sure the car needs claying, it sounds like rubbing your hands through sand and grass when you rub the paint with your hands.

I'll agree with Buegie and say yes, you're fine to clay the entire vehicle - even glass as mentioned. The only consideration I'd offer is that if you have any relief paint around the perimeter of a chip the clay will want to grab it and remove it i.e. lifted paint around a chip. In my opinion that's ok because I want that lifted paint gone anyway and it's usually a small amount. By removing that you're minimizing any environemental affects working under the paint and further enlarging the chip in the future.
Once done you might want to fill in those chips.
