http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.c...BA2E55188A93C7

I'm in for two fun days riding shot-gun...That 5+ hour haul from So. Cal is going to be a b*tch but well worth it.

If I was in town... I'd do this:

But, me and my red neck will be in Bark River MI that weekend.

Skip the gas/food/beer. Just give me the hookers. I've got enough fat stored up to go 3 days without food and beer.

Also, this is why you find a track buddy and SHARE some of said cost. Back in the days we used to pack in 4 guys in a single 2 bed room (not sharing beds, of course), and most of us were in varying classes and could afford to share a couple of rentals.

Email Scooter. There's a bunch of last minute cancellations, my buddy who I was going to carpool up with for the 8 hour drive had a family emergency and now my WRX is not going to be safe for track use (exhaust hitting drive-shaft) and I'm not entirely comfortable driving my MZ4 Coupe for 8 hours up and back...I'm going to talk to the missus one more time tonight to see what her plans are for the weekend, but I may have to bow out as well.

Tell Peter or Billy you're available if you haven't made plans.

Won't even consider it until I get the oil cooler to match my intercooler...Harold?

Our cars don't like it up there in the summer.

I got the email from Peter a few weeks ago saying they are all full up with instructors...I dunno...it will be stinking hot there too.

I heard low to mid 90s, which is better than the last two trips I took up there. I think two years ago it was 98 and 99 for Saturday and Sunday.

Last email I got from Peter says there's a bunch of last minute cancellations from instructors (myself included) and there's a bunch of students that signed up too so the school's full and there isn't a full compliment. If the track wasn't so darn far away I'd make every effort. As it is, my wife has a rehearsal for a concert Saturday and my presence is required to watch our 14mo. old...Makes the choice a little bit easier.

Before the little one the choice would have been THill, no question.
