Ventureshield clear bra on used car?

My car is a 2006 and I just bought it with 32,000 miles. I called to set up an appointment for window tint (I'm wasting no time) and asked about getting Ventureshield clear protection on at least my headlights and foglights to prevent them from ever getting worse. I really hate chipped up lenses. Anyway, he said they could touch up the chips in the bumper and put on the full clear bra. Is this BS? Wouldn't it pull up the touch up paint from the chips if it was ever removed? Is it even worth it on a 3 year old car? Anything else I can do to prevent further rock chipping? I do plan on keeping the car for at least 5 years.

Thanks!

The paint on the bumper seems to be in good condition. The chips seem sonsistant with any vehicle that has 30,000 miles. I just want to know if touching up and then applying a clear bra is a good idea?

I have the same exact situation (same year, just bought it and faced the same decision). My car is in good condition but I would not be willing to spend money to protect a paint job that has some wear and tear. The only option from my point of view would be to spend the money and get the entire front touched up and then get venturesheild or clear bra. That seems like a big investment so I decided to wait and see. When the car get enough chips that it really needs to be touched up then I will get both done. Till then I can live with it. BMW paint is very durable so I think it will be fine for some time. Now if it was a new car I would have it done the day I bought the car because this stuff is amazing.

I think I might have it done just because I plan on keeping this car for at least 5 years and I really really hate rock chips!
