Need urgent help!
Hey guys, so basically here's the story.
I'm driving to my friends house on a canyon when a semi is coming in the opposite direction forcing me to go to the right side of the road. Not seeing 2 nasty dips, I hit the first one and my car gets semi airborne, then I come in and hit the second one again causing me to get semi airborne. The noise that the hits made was horrific and I immediately pulled over. At first there was no cosmetic/visisible damage but as a started to drive I noticed the whole cabin was shaking and it seemed as if every time my tire made a full rotation it would hit a bump and the faster I went the faster the bumping noises came. Then bam, TPMS goes off and says I have a flat. I get home and it seems to be my back right tire but i'm not 100% sure till I take it to the shop. My conclusion so far is that there are 2 scenarios: Best scenario is that I just have a flat and possibly bent the rim which would result in new tires (which I planned on getting anyways), and maybe 1 or 2 new rims. My question is, what is the worst case scenario that could happen? Damaged suspension? Bent chassis frame? Something even worse?! Until I take it to the shop either tomorrow or next week I won't know the full extend of the damage, but I wanna see if anybody else has had this happen. |

I broke a front arm when I was doing doughnuts in a parking lot (yea yea i know) and ran over a curb @ 30mph?
So that could happen. You could have blown a shock, cracked an arm or other component, but if you got air born in guessing you squared off part of your rim before anything else. |

Sounds like you could have a bent wheel, bent suspension arm, and tweaked alignment. I would get the car checked out immediately.

It really depends on what arm you could have damaged. I would take it to go get checked out.

So I checked the tire at the rear right tire is completely blown out, so I'm getting it towed via flatbed to my tire shop and getting Michelin PS2's put on. Then I'm gonna take it to the mechanic shop to look for damage to the car.
