Non-metallic black paint (jet black?)
I am currently out in Marbella and spotted a 335 on arab plates that was non-metallic black (i think its the non-cost Jet black in the UK brochure) and it looked awesome, way ore shiny than Sapphire black.
Now, this could be just because of the sun and in Scotland it would last 5mins before it was swirled up, but is Jet black a rare optionin the UK? I have only seen Sapphire black cars on the BMW UK dealer searches. Any info? Thanks J |

It is a crisper colour! It looks awesome but requires high maintenance. Personally I love it. I would buy a E92 with that colour.

I'm not too far from you at the mo, drove through Spain today to reach Gibraltar to see the family for a few days.
Back on the subject, I used to have a bmw mini in Jet black, much prefered it over the met black but I think they even dropped it from the mini range not long after I bought it!

The non-metallic paint looks really good when it's clean, but as soon as you get any dirt on it at all it looks quite dull and flat. |
