IMO, the M sports package straight from the factory is well worth the $. Plus it comes with rear PDC. Wish it was an option on the 08 models. Too bad they don't offer DCT & LSD. Here's the option list for the 2010 E90 - Pricing hasn't been released yet, but I'm told it will stay the same. If you remember, 2008 Models came standard with Logic 7 stereo, but in 2009 it was a $875 option. Doesn't appear like they are increasing their prices by making prior year standard items options. |

The Xdrive does not come with any suspension upgrade. Kind of disappointed since it is still the same price as the regular 335i and they get the suspension kit.

The xi has a pretty stiff suspension standard. I would not be upset. If you want to tighten things up there are some good aftermarket options.

Care to share some good sets? Just keeping my options open. I am not upset that it doesn't come with them, I am more upset at the fact that the price is the same even though you don't get the sport suspension.

There is no real cost difference for the ZSP suspension parts for BMW -- little stiffer spring, valve in dampers, mm thicker sway etc. So no cost savings for them to reduce package price.
PM Harold @ AutoWerkes for advice on xi suspension mods for street/track.

IMHO the M-sport is worth the money over the regular sport. You get different bumpers, skirts, steering wheel, shifter, anthracite headliner, and that /// M badging everywhere.
costs an additional $1600 over the stock sports package. but you will not be able to replicate it, OEM or non-OEM parts, for $1600 ... I guarantee you... well maybe... if you bought chinese bumpers, side-skirts, chinese knockoff M-sport steering wheel, shifter, and yes, for sure maybe you will find chinese /// M badging door sills and such.... |
