Track My 2009 335d Sedan

I've been tracking my car's delivery through BMWUSA.com. The car was supposed to arrive at port on August 7. As of yesterday, August 11, the car was shown as still En Route to the Preparation Center (which I'm told is in North Carolina). Today BMWUSA.com updated and reported that my car was now at the Preparation Center. I called the dealer in Missouri to ask if they could give me an update on when they expected the car would be available for pick up. I got a call back a couple of hours later to say that the car had just arrived at the dealer. So, as near as I can tell, the BMWUSA.com "Track my 2009 335d Sedan" feature runs about 5 days slow. However, I'll keep looking at the site and see how long it takes for the final stage "At Your BMW Center" to show up.

I thought others waiting for their cars and using the website "Track Your Car" feature might be surprised at the extent of the delay in that website feature.

I believe there are other threads about this as well, but yeah, it's definitely slower. You're much better off calling the 800 number instead.

And this is also probably better off in the ordering/new car forum

I knew it was slow before I ordered my car--anyways 3 days AFTER I took delivery is when it changed to "at your bmw center"

so yeah...that is slow!

As of August 14, the Track my Car site feature now says it's at the dealer. So, in the end, it caught up and only shows a 3 day lag...like others have said.
