I know It's an OT, but I need to know if there is any bakery that sells some good Baumkuchen cakes/rolls/bread :/
It was this hot summer day in Japan that I got to taste it and I'M HOOKED. It like melts in your mouth. Now that all the souvenirs from friends in Japan are devoured I'm in need for s'moreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

We are closer to Europe than Japan is.. there's gotta be a place who bakes good Baumkuchens. ANYONE?

It looks like this. It's usually sugar coated(at least the ones I tried in Japan), and it's like a small cake in your mouth every bite. It's soft enough to eat without much chewing effort but it's firm enough to give you that chewing soft cake sensation! the words don't describe it enough.

When I tried my first roll in Japan, people lined up like crazy to take a roll home. I will give this place SGxi found a try and write a review after! it looks like they have a store near my school

The one from Eitelbach is usually all coated in chocolate... rarely do they have it without the chocolate.

They have individually wrapped ones for sale as well, so you don't have to buy the whole cake.
