Need to think about coilovers for 20"s???
First post, hope you can help me. I have an E93 with the BMW sport package, and of course the 18" wheels that come with it. I am planning to put new 20x9 and 20x10.5" vossen wheels with 245/30 and 285/20 falkens. I have checked with several vossen wheel dealers and directly with Vossen and this are the recommended sizes (no need for spacers). In this forum I frequently see member recommendations/opinions on lowering (coilovers, etc) for a better look when installing larger (19", 20") wheels and tires....question is: Is it neccesary/recommended to lower the car by installing coilovers (to achieve a better look/performance) even if the car has already the BMW sports package (which inludes a lowered suspension)? or is that recommendation only for higher vehicles without the sports package? Thaks very much for your comments. |
