Tyre Pressure Warning system-different wheels
I've got some genuine BMW 17 inch M3 wheels/tyres, was hoping these will fit on my 325i m sport(18's) while I get the wheels refurbed?-(some time soon)
How does the run flat sensor work ? is there a sensor in the wheel valve or does it work another way? |

TPMS utilises the wheelspeed signals from the ABS wheel sensors - when one wheel looses pressure, it gets smaller and spins FASTER than the other three.
When the ABS ECU sees this discrepancy, it flags up a low tyre fauly.
