In Trinidad, Hurricanes aren't a problem because we are just below, outside the hurricane belt

U my friend...lucky.

My family is actually from Bermuda, not exactly the Caribbean but similar in regards lifestyle. It is without a doubt my favorite place in the world, second is Montego Bay Jamaica. The issue in Bermuda is the govt. prohibits cars with engines over 2 liters otherwise i would be able to drive a 335i on the coast with the windows open while looking over the Atlantic by Warwick Long Bay.

I wish i could have one drive on the coast of any Caribbean Island..

Oh Yes, The Caribbean Lifestyle is great.
It sucks that you can't import a car with an engine size over 2 liters. What does someone in Bermuda do if they want a sports car? What kind of cars are their in Bermuda? With a law like that, its quite limited.

In Trinidad, import taxes on a car is about 50% therefore, there are many 320i and 325i BMWs, with very few having bigger engines

In Northern Trinidad, small groups of people meet up and drive along the northern coast. The roads aren't great but the scenery is beautiful...
