Help! Procede softwware wont connect to car!

I plug it in and I connect it and it wont go online.. I tried every com input and wont get connect. What am I doing wrong. If you can help me please.

Make sure you use a COM port 1 to 10. The PROcede won't recognize anything over 10. And if you are having problems with basic software features, it may not be a good idea to beta test new maps for us at this point. You might be better off waiting until it is officially released.

i tired all the coms, I never had this problem all of a sudden it wont work Shiv, I updated the software like 3 to 4 times.

i also tried with car running and car not running just on. it wont connect.

If you have communicated before, then it is a laptop port issue at this point. Not sure what else I can do. If you want a walk thru on the phone, just call us tomorrow during business hours and we can figure it out.

i tried that wont connect said port 2, and i used two different laptops now. Do i need internet?

This is most likely not the case... but if you installed snow leopard and had to upgrade parallels you'll need to re-load the cable's drivers. I found this out today.

i am using a mac with parallels, not the new leopard tho. so what do i need to do and how?

there is no driver for the gigaware usb connector didn't come with one and i checked the site

yes! I think its working.. Thank you so much. Amazing how the driver was in there but was no longer there.
