ugh, do a search. That spike you see on every datalog isn't seen by the engine, it's been talked about countless times it should be a sticky. He's talking about the higher boost any tuned car sees, 14-16psi vs. stock boost of 7-8psi. Essentially double what the original system was designed around.

Take it easy, i know the spike is what u called normal. But im simply just asking if the "glitch" is from the spike. And the ECU does see the spike otherwise u wont be able to datalog it.
Therefore, may be the ECU seeing the spike(glitch?)and closing the throttle longer than it should.

No. It's a "glitch" in the boost control system. By glitch I mean that it works perfectly fine in low boost applications. But in higher boost applications, it expects the turbos to do things which they physically cannot do. As a result, the DME closes the throttle and plays the painful waiting game until the turbos de-spool.

Shiv my car did it bone stock, with the JB1, and with the JB2 all of which were running at, or less than 12 psi. Either way, glad you have a work around. I think it's some sort of torque management, but regardless its annoying as hell.

The engine is not "receiving" this boost spike. everything else deosn't matter anyways.
