New to BMW (335 xdrive) - question

Hello folks
I am brand new to BMW (former A6 driver) and this forum, just took delivery of an 09 335i xDrive coupe with M sport pkg. Holy crap, what an awesome car. I've been a stealth reader of your posts for the past 5 weeks (while waiting for the transport from Vancouver - agonizing) - I appreciate all your tips and advice.

Question I have is, since the xDrive sits so high, other than lowering the suspension is there a way to close the fender gap to make it look more like a 335i? Maybe a dumb question but would switching to 19's help with that (currently have 18' 193s) or does the diameter stay the same? If i lower the suspension, will it always make the ride more harsh? Also, rather than use spacers to widen the stance, could I put on a different set of rims and tires that would be wider?
Thanks in advance

you can get some springs or get a coil over system to enhance the handling and height. Congrats on the new ride!

Just lowering springs will look great, but I hear the ride is kinda harsh and gets really bouncy when you go over bumps.

There is an "xi" dedicated subforum, so go there and read up. More info than you could possibly ever want...

Welcome.

add-ons like front lip, makes it look like the car doesnt sit as high if you dont want to go through all that hassle with suspension upgrade

Susp and coilovers as others said.

Going from 18 to 19 inch rims will only make the fender gap appear bigger.
