Chicago Burbs Intramural Football/Soccer

Hey All

I was looking to join up on a football or soccer intramural team this fall. Nothing hard core, just something fun to push myself thats better than a couple hours in the gym.

Anyone know if a good place to go and and find a league that isnt right in Chicago. I live in the west burbs (lombard) and would love to not have to join a league in the city but out here in the burbs.

Anyone play in one or know of a good play to look.

i know of some ***-football aka flag football teams out of shiller park. theres a little bit of contact and full contact on kick offs but its ok. i thnk theyre through park districts. i decleated a guy and he got pretty pissed. i told him its football and not ballet. needless to say he didnt appreciate the comment.

indoor soccer is always going on in Palatine my man... I used to playin leagues here every year since I was like 14.

Thanks for the info.

And i think flag and touch are about the only types of intramural football you can find thats at least organized.
