So I just asked East Bay BMW to send me a copy of their service agreement to see its exclusions.

Some of the exclusions scare me, but at least it looks like the electronics are covered.

How much does this warranty go for? I am not a fan of extended warranties, especially if you had the car since new and took good car of it. I normally tell help to take the money that would have spent on the extended warranty and place it in a savings account so that if you do have an issue, you have the money. If you don't, then you just saved a good amount of money.

Hendrick Extended Warranty only work at a Hendricks dealership, most of the time they will not work at another dealership.

But if anything electronic goes bad, its instantly more than the couple grand cost for warranty...

Its a gamble, and the insurance companies have done the math and statistically know that they are more likely to make a profit. But a couple grand over 3 years is ~60-70 bucks a month that may save you from a 5k repair.

Ask I asked in the other thread, is this from your personal experiences with the warranty/dealerships or from/through other people?
