My dealer always has wrong info ...

I have a 335 coupe which arrived in NJ on the Liberty on Saturday the 16th (thanks adl320 for the info) and I emailed my CA this morning to see if he knew that and he tells me that the ship should be arriving on the 21st. I was laughing to myself saying if it wasn't for e90post.com I would just beleive what he is saying. Dont the dealers have more updated info. So far they have been an OK delaership. This will be the 3rd BMW I bought there. I don't understand the logic behind this. I'm pretty sure they want my money right?

They do have access, they just don't often care enough to take the time to use it.

They have the most up-to-date info right off their terminal (DCS network).

+2. I asked my salesman why some dealerships didn't give out any info or inaccurate info. He said it was to minimize questions. If they appear ignorant then they won't be bothered with "where's my freaking car?". My salesman and I figured if you just answered the question, you probably would get less questions. Needless to say... I know exactly where my car is. Unfortunately, that doesn't make the car get here any quicker.
